Rugby: Latimer ruled out of Chiefs

Flanker Tanerau Latimer has been ruled out of the Chiefs clash with the Stormers tomorrow night in Hamilton.

Latimer roll his left ankle midway through training yesterday and was withdrawn from the side this morning.

Chiefs coach Ian Foster has chosen to shift Liam Messam to openside rather than elevate 19-year-old Sam Cane to the starting lineup.

He's gone for the size in the form of 1.95m 114kg Taiasina Tuifua on the blindside with Cane remaining on the bench.
