A week after losing to the Sunwolves, the Jaguares have responded in impressive fashion, thumping the hapless Kings 73-27 this morning.
The romp was just Jaguares' second victory of the season, and their first taste of victory since their debut week one triumph over the Cheetahs.
At times, it looked like the Jaguares could even threaten the record for most points in a Super Rugby game, having scored 40 points by halftime and reaching the 60 mark after 54 minutes.
While the Kings managed to avoid joining the Sunwolves in having 90 points scored against them this season, it was a truly horrible defensive performance.
The game saw 57 missed tackles - 37 by the Kings, while the Jaguares ran in 11 tries.
