Israel Folau plans to appeal after being suspended for one match at a World Rugby judiciary hearing for his collision in the air with Ireland skipper Peter O'Mahony.
The fullback was yellow carded and post-match given a citing commissioner's warning over two aerial contests in the series-deciding third Test that resulted in O'Mahony landing awkwardly.
In both situations, and a third that was also highlighted, O'Mahony was being lifted by one teammate, putting him a precarious position.
New Zealand referee Michael O'Leary, said Folau had "placed his left hand on O'Mahony's chest", which had pulled the flanker "over and he toppled to the ground."
A World Rugby judicial hearing in Sydney on last night handed down the suspension, which means Folau will miss Friday night's Super Rugby against the Stormers.
