The Hurricanes have made only two changes to their starting 15 from the side that lost to the Chiefs last Friday, with loose forward Faifili Levave coming in at No 6 and Alapati Leiua returning to the right wing for Saturday's game against the Highlanders in Wellington.
On the bench, flankder Jack Lam returns to the 22 after debuting for Samoa in the June break.
Players unavailable for the Hurricanes this week include Tim Bateman (knee), Jeffery Toomaga-Allen (knee), Motu Matu'u (arm), Tusi Pisi (hand) and Ardie Savea (ankle), while Andre Taylor (shoulder) and Dane Coles (calf) have also been limited recently.
This week's game is the final home outing of the 11th-placed Hurricanes' season, while the Highlanders are looking to move off the bottom of the Super Rugby ladder.
