KEY POINTS:
The Hurricanes have named a powerful lineup, including captain Rodney So'oialo and Jerry Collins, for their final Super 14 rugby competition warm-up match against the Brumbies in Levin.
So'oialo will play at No 8 and Collins at blindside flanker, forming an irresistible combination with Chris Masoe in the loose forwards.
It will be the Hurricanes' first warm-up at home, with all 28 players available for selection a week out from the season-opener - against the Waratahs next Saturday.
Ma'a Nonu will be up for his first game of the year off the bench after a thumb injury ruled him out of the first two wamups - against the Crusaders and Chiefs.
Cory Jane, who started in every match for the Hurricanes at fullback last season, takes over from Shannon Paku in that position, with Paku moving to the left wing and rookie Zac Guildford playing off the bench.
John Schwalger and Tim Fairbrother (tighthead) will be the props for the third pre-season game. Jimmy Gopperth and Tamati Ellison also play their third game at five-eighths.
Jason Eaton will start at lock after making his comeback off the bench against the Chiefs last week. Eaton teams up with Jeremy Thrush, with other locks Bernie Upton and Craig Clarke both set to take the field off the bench.
Brumbies coach Laurie Fisher still has a number of selection questions he wants answered tonight. They meet the Crusaders in Christchurch next Friday.
With more than 550 caps of Super experience either having left the franchise or currently on the injured list, Fisher still has to finalise a number of positions.
He will give all 26 players named a run tonight.
With longstanding inside backs George Gregan and Stephen Larkham heading overseas and test backs Stirling Mortlock and Clyde Rathbone injured, Fisher still has to settle on his first-choice backline.
He suggested there will also be a number of positions up for grabs in the forwards, with long term hooker Jeremy Paul now playing in England and fitness doubts over lock Mark Chisholm and flanker Julian Salvi.
Tonight's squad include Wallabies George Smith, Stephen Hoiles, Julian Huxley, Adam Ashley-Cooper and Mark Gerrard.
