KEY POINTS:
Verdict: Disappointing overall. If it weren't for couple of last minute wins we would be dead last. We need our ABs back and fast.
Biggest Surprise: The Sharks 6 from 6 is pretty formidable - will be interesting to see them on the road though. The Waratahs' dismal effort this season is a bit of surprise, too
Hero: Struggling to think of a standout this year.
Zero: Pick a number between 1 and 15.
Freeze frame: Huge loss to the Sharks... Canes were completely out-muscled up front.
My time: Obvious - the return of our ABs.
National interest: Still optimistic, the Aussies look awful and, apart from a few Springboks on form, the ABs should be clear favourites. None of the teams in the Six Nations have shown anything to suddenly make us worried either.
Top-four or trapdoor: It's going to take a big effort from this point onwards to make the top 4 - the plus side, we've played Blues/Brumbies/Sharks already and have a string of home games coming up, so fingers crossed.
Champions: Hard to go past the Blues at this point, I think the Sharks will struggle on the road, so anyone's guess for the second spot.
