Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has stuck with the team that beat the Rebels 66-24 last week for Saturday's clash with the Waratahs in Sydney.
The teams haven't met since 2010 because the Waratahs were the only Australian side the Hurricanes didn't play last year under the new conference format. The Waratahs won the last meeting, also in Sydney, 32-16.
The Hurricanes are ninth on the Super Rugby ladder on 40 points and remain an outside chance to make the playoffs. The Waratahs are 11th on 30 points.
After Saturday night's game, the Hurricanes will have a week off before preparing for their non-competition match with the Reds on the Sunshine Coast on Friday, June 15.
