Former Wallabies skipper and Reds lock James Horwill will front the SANZAR judicial hearing on a striking charge today after his send-off in their Super Rugby clash with the Melbourne Rebels.
Horwill was sent off in the 21st minute at AAMI Park, with the Reds going down to the Rebels 23-15.
The lock was joining a tackle on Paul Alo-Emile with his arm appearing to collect the Rebels prop.
The case will be heard by SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Nicholas Davidson QC.
Horwill was yellow-carded twice in round one against the Brumbies, shown a red card on the second occasion.
