Rugby: Harding transfers to Canterbury

Otago rugby loose forward Sam Harding has transferred to Canterbury on a two-year contract.

The former Highlanders and Otago representative was last month named in the Crusaders Super 12 squad for 2005.

Harding, 23, will now remain in Christchurch to play club rugby and will be available for selection for Canterbury in next year's NPC.

His transfer was announced today by the Canterbury Rugby Union.
