Newly appointed Waikato rugby head coach Tony Hanks has resigned as Chiefs assistant coach to fully commit his time to the Waikato role.
Hanks succeeded Warren Gatland, who is now coach of Wales.
Hanks was skills coach and technical analyst for the Chiefs in 2006 and 2007.
Chiefs head coach Ian Foster will now be assisted by Craig Stevenson.
