Hurricanes coach Mark Hammett has largely kept the status quo with his Hurricanes line-up for Friday's game against the Blues at Westpac Stadium in Wellington.
Riding a two-match winning streak, Hammett's only tweak to his starting side that beat the Bulls in Napier two weeks ago is the inclusion of prop Reg Goodes who has replaced Ben Franks (groin).
Reserve flanker Brad Shields took a knock to his knee on Monday which has kept him off the team sheet.
Backs Tim Bateman and Chris Smylie return to the reserves after injury spells, while Motu Matu'u, Ardie Savea and Matt Proctor have also been named on the bench for the Good Friday encounter.
Hurricanes: Andre Taylor, Cory Jane, Conrad Smith (captain), Alapati Leiua, Julian Savea, Beauden Barrett, TJ Perenara, Victor Vito, Jack Lam, Faifili Levave, James Broadhurst, Jeremy Thrush, Jeffery Toomaga-Allen, Dane Coles, Reg Goodes. Reserves: Motu Matu'u, Chris Eves, John Schwalger, Blade Thomson, Ardie Savea, Chris Smylie, Tim Bateman, Matt Proctor.
