Rugby: Giteau confident of playing

Injured Wallabies playmaker Matt Giteau is confident of playing Friday night's Super 14 opener for the Brumbies against his old team, the Western Force, in Perth, although coach Andy Friend rated him only a 50-50 chance.

The 78-test back strained his quad a fortnight ago.
