Crusaders centre Robbie Fruean has been warned that he needs to deliver in the impending Super Rugby play offs.
Fruean has been benched for Saturday's final round Super Rugby match against the Force in Christchurch.
Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder says Fruean needs a break.
"Obviously he's getting a little bit tired, he's started every single game so (I'll) throw him on the bench, just give him a kick in the backside. He needs to freshen up, but also too he really needs to deliver something because his spot's in jeopardy."
Blackadder says Sam Whitelock has also been moved to the bench to freshen up.
