The domestic playing future of All Blacks prop Ben Franks has finally been resolved.
Last night Franks signed to play with the Wellington Hurricanes in Super Rugby and the Hawke's Bay Magpies in the ITM Cup for the next three seasons.
The move comes after Franks asked for a release from the Crusaders in order to see more playing time.
Franks has the ability to play both sides of the scrum but will likely specialise as a loosehead at the Hurricanes to increase his chances of adding to his 20 tests for the All Blacks.
Franks is the fourth prop to be contracted to the franchise for the 2013 season along with Ben May, Jeffery Toomaga-Allen and Reggie Goodes.
