The Western Force Super rugby franchise today increased its portfolio of New Zealand-born players by signing North Queensland Cowboys rugby league outside back Will Tupou.
The 21-year-old has switched codes for the next two seasons and joins first-five-eighth Willie Ripia and other new arrivals for the 2012 Super 15, former Waikato lock Toby Lynn, Auckland midfield back Winston Stanley and New Zealand Maori league representative Jordan Rapana.
Auckland-born Tupou spent two years at the Brisbane Broncos before making his National Rugby League (NRL) debut for the Cowboys last year.
An Australian schoolboys rugby representative in 2007, Tupou has made 21 appearances in the NRL, including nine this season.
