Rugby: Ellis 50/50 for Super 15 final

The Crusaders have embarked on the final leg of their Super Rugby journey and are en route from Cape Town to Brisbane.

Halfback Andy Ellis is a 50/50 proposition with Willie Heinz joining the squad as cover.

Reds first five Quade Cooper shone in their semi-final win over the Blues, while Dan Carter was equally dominant in helping dismantle the Stormers.

Crusaders assistant coach Daryl Gibson says the Reds were impressive in their win and shutting down the halves will be the key.

The Crusaders will touch down in Brisbane this evening.
