Rugby: Eden Park offers to host Crusaders

The Eden Park Trust Board is offering to provide a home game for the Crusaders.

Super Rugby is unlikely to be played at AMI Stadium this year following the damage caused by the earthquake.

Trust CEO David Kennedy understands the Crusaders want to take their games to their franchise regions but says their door is always open.

Kennedy says if they wanted to they would happily host one of their games and turn it into a charity match to raise money to help rebuild Christchurch.

Kennedy says there have been no talks about hosting any of Christchurch's World Cup matches.
