Crusaders reserve hooker Ben Funnell has been cited for an alleged act of foul play in his team's 41-19 victory over the Bulls in Christchurch last night (Sat).
Funnell, who replaced Corey Flynn in the second half, is alleged to have made illegal contact against Bulls replacement lock Grant Hattingh in the 60th minute.
The footage was reviewed by the citing commissioner, who deemed the incident met the red card threshold for foul play. The citing will be considered by Sanzar duty judicial officer Nicholas Davidson QC.
