New Zealander Steve Walsh has been at the centre of a refereeing controversy in the Hurricanes 18-12 loss to the Reds in Brisbane.
The Hurricanes failed to cross the try line despite several late attempts to win the game.
Walsh, who now represents the ARU, dominated the encounter with his whistle and appeared to push past Hurricanes skipper Conrad Smith in the second half.
Smith was denied the match-winning try by the television match official in the closing stages of the match, one of a number of calls he was mystified by.
He says he's not going to get drawn into saying anything, but he didn't know the reason for half of the calls made.
