The Crusaders are set to welcome back their two superstars for Sunday morning's Super 15 match against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.
After sitting out last weekend's win over the Stormers, Richie McCaw is almost certain to return.
First-five Daniel Carter also appears to be fully over his hamstring injury and is tipped to make his long-awaited return.
Coach Todd Blackadder says it's looking good for the duo.
Blackadder says Carter has come through training unscathed this morning.
Meanwhile All Blacks halfback Piri Weepu is expected to make his long awaited to return against the Highlanders on Friday night.
Weepu declared himself available after recovering from a broken ankle and then a recent calf strain.
Weepu says he wouldn't last long enough starting so hopefully he can get some time off the bench.
He says he had a meeting with the All Blacks coaches last week to discuss his recovery and return to rugby.
