KEY POINTS:
The Blues have jumped back into the winners circle with a 38-13 bonus-point win over the Queensland Reds at Eden Park in Auckland tonight.
The home side mixed aggressive forward play with dazzling attack from their backline to outscore the Reds five tries to one and firmly cement their place in the top four of the Super 14 after four weeks of competition.
Replacement winger Rudi Wulf grabbed a double for the Blues to go with tries from Isa Nacewa and Jerome Kaino while the visitors solitary try came from replacement Charlie Fetoai late in the game.
Blues captain Troy Flavell again led from the front and All Black utility Isaia Toeava was a constant threat in midfield, featuring in the lead-up to three of his side's tries.
The Reds slumped to their third straight defeat and will be disappointed to lose so heavily after only being down 13-6 at halftime.
The game was the first of four home games for the Blues who meet the Highlanders next Friday.
Meanwhile, the Reds return home next week to take on the Lions.
Blues 38 (Rudi Wulf 2, Isa Nacewa, Jerome Kaino tries; Nacewa pen, 2 con; Luke McAlister 3 pen, con), Reds 13 (Charlie Fetoai try; Clinton Schifcofske 2 pen, con). Halftime: 13-6.
