The Reds have suffered another blow to their injury-riddled outside back division with Lachie Turner forced out of their Super Rugby derby against the Force.
Turner has joined fellow Reds flyers Chris Feauai-Sautia, Aidan Toua and Dom Shipperley on the sidelines after failing to overcome an ankle problem.
It means utility back Ben Lucas will start at fullback and Auckland product Jamie-Jerry Taulagi will make his Super Rugby debut on the wing at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday night.
Turner started at fullback in the 22-17 win over the Stormers but moved to the wing when Shipperley was struck down by a hip flexor injury.
Turner's ankle problem caps three weeks of carnage for the Reds, who have also lost forwards Liam Gill, Ben Daley and Saia Fainga'a since embarking on their South African tour.
