The Queensland Reds have beaten Moana Pasifika 56-36 in Brisbane.

• The Reds, in their first game of the year, ran out to a 21-0 lead inside the opening 15 minutes.
• Moana Pasifika fought back to close the gap to 21-8 at halftime.
• The Reds outscored Moana Pasifika eight tries to five, with Moana winger Kyren Taumoefolau continuing his strong start to the season and scoring a double.
