Rebel Sport has extended its sponsorship of the Super 14 rugby competition for three more years, the sports retailer and New Zealand Rugby Union announced today.
Rebel Sport has been naming rights sponsor of the competition in New Zealand since 2004.
Its contract with the NZRU was due to expire at the end of the 2007 season and the extension will now see it through to the end of the 2010 season.
The 2007 Super 14 kicks off on February 2 when the Blues host the Crusaders in Auckland.
