After a sterling year in 2005, Jerry Collins lines up on Friday night for the Hurricanes against the Blues in the opening Rebel Sport Super 14 game at Eden Park.
Despite the short break between seasons, Jerry is hungry for action, in front of a big crowd.
He said it seems these days fans are being fed rugby 365 days of the year. But joked that at least the Blues would get a good crowd, because there is not much else to do in Auckland on a Friday night.
