The Hurricanes will wait until the last minute before deciding on whether first five David Holwell will suit up against the Waratahs in this Saturday night's Super 14 match in Sydney.
Holwell has not trained with the Hurricanes all week because of a poisoned knee.
Coach Colin Cooper wants to name an unchanged lineup for the crucial match, and says they will have to play the waiting game as far as Holwell is concerned.
He says Paul Tito will not be considered for selection as he recovers from an injured ankle, but hopes the lock will be back for the semifinals.
