Highlanders 31 Chiefs 24
Highlanders coach Glenn Moore has expressed his satisfaction with rugby's new rule initiatives following his side's first Super 14 pre-season hit out.
The Highlanders have overcome the Chiefs 31-24 at Carisbrook.
The new rules are designed to restore the advantage to the attacking side and clean up the set piece.
Glenn Moore says both teams adapted well.
He says both teams went into the game with a positive attitude towards the new rules and there was not much dissatisfaction towards them.
