A look back on all the Fantasy studs and duds from the weekend's Super 15 action.
Chiefs 17 Hurricanes 12
The star: Tanerau Latimer made up for five single point weeks in a row with 29 Fantasy points, his best of the season. 14 tackles and a try helped saw him the best on the field, closely followed by teammate Liam Messam with 25.
The dud: All the Hurricanes excluding Beauden Barrett who finished with 15 Fantasy points. The next best for the losing side was eight points while seven players finished in the negatives.
Value pick: No great deals on offer but Matt Vant Leven continues to impress at just $5,080,000. He scored 15 points to make it 49 points in three games.
Rebels 30 Stormers 21
The star: Hugh Pyle (26) and Jason Woodward (25) were the standout performers for the home side. Pyle scored his fifth try of the season while Woodward kicked six from seven. The best for the Stormers was Joe Pietersen with 15 points.
The dud:Bryan Habana scored his first try of the season but still only finished with eight points. The sixth time this season he's failed to crack double figures. Not what you want from a player who costs in excessive of $9.3m.
Value pick: Pyle continues to be a steal at $3,890,000. He sits as the top scoring second rower with 166 points, one more than Brodie Retallick who is $1.5m more.
Force 13 Sharks 23
The star: Sharks back rower Keegan Daniel led all scorers with 27 points, his best of the season. Makes up for just two points in his last two matches. Daniel crossed over for this third try of the season along with adding 11 tackles. Fellow Sharks Marcell Coetzee (25) and Riaan Viljoen (24) weren't too far behind.
The dud: No major duds on display however reserve Force halfback Brett Sheehan scored -4 after coming on to replace Alby Mathewson.
Value pick: Coetzee - Priced at just $4,150,000 it's always a good sign when a player cracks the 20-mark without scoring a try. 21 tackles will do that.
Crusaders 23 Blues 3
The star: Plenty to pick in the Crusaders side. Matt Todd (25) was on form again with 21 tackles while Owen Franks (24), Dan Carter (21), Tom Taylor (21), Ryan Crotty (20) and Ben Funnell (20) all cashed in.
The dud: Piri Weepu and Francis Saili both recorded -4 performances after strong games in recent weeks. Typical of the rollercoaster season that is the Blues.
Value pick: If Taylor continues with the kicking duties then $8,560,000 is a good price considering the Crusaders are on the rise.
