Tim Nanai-Williams picked up where he left off last season by scoring twice and picking up 38 points in the Chiefs 41-27 victory over the Highlanders.
Blues back Charles Piutau also stood out with 31 points in his side's win over the Hurricanes. Priced at $8.5m Piutau would have been the bargain player of round two along with Southern Kings back Sergeal Petersen who priced at $7.5m had 25 points after two tries against the Force.
There was also plenty of points on offer in the Republic with Bulls five-eight Morne Steyn (28) and Sharks five-eight Patrick Lambie (27) leading the way in victories for their respective sides.
The Kings second row duo of Steven Sykes (23 points) and David Bulbring (20 points) also played strong games for the Super 15 newcomers. While on the other end of the encounter four Force players scored in the negatives.
They were amongst a number of players who produced negative scores in round two with Stormers five-eight Elton Jantjies proving an unpopular choice this week after a -5 effort in a 25-17 loss to the Bulls. Paying $9m for a negative score wouldn't have pleased any of his Fantasy managers.
