KEY POINTS:
Queensland rugby coach Eddie Jones is staunchly rejecting suggestions he has ignored a request from John Connolly to rest some players out of contact situations during Super 14 pre-season training.
The comments come in the wake of Wallabies fullback Chris Latham's potentially season ending knee injury, which he sustained while working with the Reds.
Connolly is furious as Latham was supposed to be among a group of 22 players being rested.

Eddie Jones says freak accidents happen and that is what this is.
Connolly is demanding a full report from the Reds over how the injury occurred.
