Chiefs winger cited for dangerous tackle

Chiefs winger Dwayne Sweeney has been cited for a dangerous tackle during his team's rugby Super 14 19-49 loss to the Waratahs in Hamilton last night.

Citing commissioner Steve Hinds cited Sweeney for an alleged dangerous tip tackle on Waratahs winger Drew Mitchell in the 19th minute of the match.

Sweeney will attend a judicial hearing at 4pm tomorrow at the New Zealand Rugby Union offices in Wellington.
