Four Chiefs players are carrying niggling injuries, but all are expected to be fit to play the Stormers in Cape Town on Sunday.
Captain Jono Gibbes has a strained ankle, centre Niva Ta'auso a bruised thigh, midfield back Keith Lowen a groin strain and loose forward Sione Lauaki a stiff neck.
The Chiefs team will be named tomorrow. Stormers coach Gert Smal has lost his most experienced lock Quinton Davids and prop Faan Rautenbach, both to calf injuries.
