Cats lock Theunis du Plooy will face stomping charges following last night's Super 12 rugby match against the Chiefs in Hamilton.
Du Plooy was cited by an independent citing commissioner and will answer two charges of stamping on two Chiefs players, a New Zealand Rugby Union statement said today.
The Sanzar judicial committee hearing will be in Wellington on Monday afternoon.
The Chiefs beat the Cats 45-14.
