Cardiff confident of signing Blair

Welsh rugby club Cardiff Blues have confirmed they are in talks with former All Blacks fullback Ben Blair.

Blues head coach Dai Young said they had approached Blair and were hopeful of signing him the BBC sport website reported today.

Blair, 27, played four tests between 2001 and 2003 and has spent the past two Super competition seasons with the Highlanders.
