Bulls centre Ettienne Botha died in a car crash early today.
The 26-year-old was the only person in the vehicle when it veered off the road and rolled near his home in Pretoria.
He died at the scene of the accident.
Botha made his first-class debut in 2000 and was a key player in the Bulls squad who won the Currie Cup for three consecutive years between 2002-04.
He was a regular member of the Bulls Super 12 team, was the leading try-scorer in last year's Currie Cup with a record 18 for the Bulls, and played for South Africa 'A' in 2004.
