A torn calf muscle has ruled prop Tony Woodcock out of the Blues final round-robin Super 14 rugby match against the Chiefs on Saturday.
The injury is likely to deny him the All Blacks' early test as well.
Although the tear was small, Blues doctor Peter Coleman told NewstalkZB the rehabilitation would take between four and six weeks, ruling him out of the first test against Ireland on June 10.
Woodcock was injured in the 33-34 loss to the Cats last Sunday when a scrum collapsed.
