The Blues have beaten the Highlanders 47-13 at Eden Park

The sides traded tries early on before the Blues edged forward to lead 21-13 at halftime.

It was one-way traffic in the second half as the Blues outscored the Highlanders 26-0 in the period.

Kurt Eklund bagged a double for the Blues, who scored a total of seven tries. Timoci Tavatavanawai’s ninth-minute try was the only one he Highlanders scored.
