What had a huge bearing on the results over the weekend?
Most punters wouldn't have seen the Hurricanes v Lions match as one that would bring out the Betting Moment that changed the Week, however, as we look deeper into the results it is very much a game that could have gone either way for the bookies.
Majority of punters out there didn't have much confidence in a massive victory by the Hurricanes even if they had an All Black backline almost in place and also a few scattered through the forwards. Punters had backed Hurricanes 12 & Under and therefore a great result for the bookies was Hurricanes 13 & Over. However a late try by Lion Jaco Taute made the result 38-27 which is in fact 12 & Under which gave the punters something to smile about and the bookies, well... lets just say a frown appeared!
