Blues centre Ben Atiga will miss the next few rounds of the Super 14 rugby series after suffering a facial injury in a gymnasium accident.
Atiga slipped on a piece of gym equipment yesterday and hit his face.
He suffered a cut lip, which required stitches, and he also damaged some teeth.
He has been treated for the injury and Blues doctor Peter Coleman expected Atiga to be able to resume training soon.
"The outlook is very good and Ben should be available for selection in three weeks," Coleman said today.
