Springbok coach Jake White has named five uncapped players in his first training squad for this year.
White included Stormers lock Andries Bekker, Bulls centre Wynand Olivier and the Sharks' halfback Ruan Pienaar, prop Brendon Botha and lock Johan Muller in his 45-man squad.
Pienaar and Bekker are sons of former Springboks. Pienaar is the son of Gysie, a fullback of the early 1980s, and Bekker is the son of 1980s lock Hennie.
White also included Stade Francais number eight Shaun Sowerby and London Irish hooker Danie Coetzee, first five-eighth Butch James and prop Deon Cartsens, who both last played for the Springboks in 2002.
