Wallabies veteran Ben Tune says the Springboks' abysmal Tri-Nations rugby performance flattered Australia, although he's tipping a home victory over the All Blacks in Brisbane.
Tune, who was on the bench in Christchurch two weeks ago for his first test in four years, and in the stands in Brisbane last Saturday against the Springboks, believes little separates the Bledisloe Cup contenders.
He said Australia pushed the panic button against New Zealand, but a smarter, more relaxed performance would help the Wallabies come away with a win in Brisbane on July 29 to keep the three-match Bledisloe Cup series alive.
One of the heroes of the 1999 World Cup triumph over France, the 29-year-old said the current crop of Wallabies showed the same emotional intelligence as that side.
