KEY POINTS:
Former All Blacks captain Tane Norton is banking on the class of the All Blacks and the passion of the French to get them through to the World Cup final, he told nzherald.co.nz.
The ex-hooker said all previous World Champions had a stand-out first-five eighth running the show, and there is none better going around at the moment than New Zealand's Daniel Carter.
Norton believes the home crowd advantage should be enough to get the French into the final.
He said the French supporters are extremely passionate about their side, however, if they do not make it they will definitely be supporting the All Blacks.
