A Kiwi rugby journalist-come-comedian has got up the nose of the Springboks by comparing their giant lock Eben Etzebeth to Borat.
Elzebeth and other players were less than impressed with the questions posed by James McOnie of The Crowd Goes Wild television fame.
McOnie, well known for his off-beat interviewing technique, caused consternation among the South Africans at their most recent World Cup press conference.
McOnie quizzed Etzebeth about a resemblance to actor Sacha Baron Cohen of Borat fame, asking: 'Eben, has anybody ever told you that you look like Borat? I mean, is that your nickname, Borat?'
Etzebeth's answer was 'no', before one of his colleagues muttered 'stupid question' as they left the room.
