All the latest news from the Rugby World Cup including the injury to All Blacks skipper Richie McCaw.

McCaw still sore
All Blacks captain Richie McCaw has been omitted from he team to play Tonga because of a sore leg, suffered against Georgia. Waisake Naholo, also injured in that game, is selected. Coach Steve Hansen used the well worn line that if this had been the final, McCaw would have been okay to play. That's hardly news, considering McCaw played the 2011 final with a broken foot. The word out of the camp - nothing is serious. Seriously.

Tonga tight
Tonga have made one change with second five-eighth Latiume Fosita replacing Sione Piukala, who started in the 45-16 defeat against Argentina.

Tidy century
Ma'a Nonu has been named to play his 100th test and finally, we are finding out what he is really like. room mate Nehe Milner-Skudder revealed the big guy is a neat freak describing him as "a cool fellow, always giving me little cheeky remarks".

"You should see our room, everything is in order, shoes all lined up and his little toiletry bag and his snacks and things are all well kept. It's good to learn off him and try to keep my stuff tidy as well."

Wales fit
Read all about it. Wales, the most injury-hit squad going into the tournament, are in excellent health for their big clash with Australia on Sunday. The Wallabies, who have lost Michael Hooper to suspension, are likely to be without star fullback Israel Folau and strong wing Rob Horne.

Opportunity knocks...sometimes
A classic piece of Bryan Habana opportunism saw the legendary South African wing equal Jonah Lomu's World Cup record of 15 tries. Habana swooped for his third try against the USA when the ball spilled from a maul. But he bungled another try opportunity a few minutes later, failing to scoop up bounding ball over the tryline. Habana should get opportunities in the playoffs to break Lomu's record.

American dream
Rugby keeps banging on about how the game is progressing in the USA. But they collapsed against South Africa, who were in imposing from winning 64 - 0 at the Olympic Stadium in London. Not exactly a great advert for Rugby Stateside.

Free to tackle Scotland
Samoan No. 8 Faifili Levave has been cleared for selection in Samoa's last Pool B match against Scotland on Saturday after a judicial hearing at the Rugby World Cup. Levave was yellow-carded early in the 26-5 loss to Japan for tackling a player without the ball.

Yawn
England are imploding, even in retrospect. The Mirror reported that a bust up between assistant coach Mike Catt and Danny Cipriani, the controversial wonderboy much-loved by the media, occurred when Cipriani was left out of the World Cup squad. The paper reported "a row erupted and Cipriani received support from the players, who deemed Catt's response too personal".

English tweets
Former skipper Lewis Moody says England should have looked to the future in picking their team for the dead rubber against Uruguay. One of his targets, loose forward James Haskell, disagreed. They took to Twitter to air all of this.

Haskell reckoned: "Sorry Judos! I'm 30 years old, not 40. You kept playing when half your body was clinically dead."

Moody, according to the Mirror, insisted he meant no offence, replying: "Haha old boy, I'm not saying you shouldn't play, plonker. I'm just saying we need to invest in the next generation." At least they've got a sense of humour.
