The 1995 Rugby World Cup is remembered for many things - the coming together of South Africa after decades of apartheid, images of Nelson Mandela kitted out in the Spirngboks captain's jersey and the emergence of Jonah Lomu as a global superstar. However, for most New Zealanders the 1995 tournament is another memory of disappointment as the All Blacks' rampant form throughout the event failed to carry on into the final against South Africa.
