There's one happy big-time punter in New Zealand - and one very unhappy one - after the All Blacks delivered on their World Cup dream.
And somewhere inbetween are relieved TAB officials.
The two largest bets received by the TAB on the All Blacks virtually cancelled each other out by virtue of New Zealand's 34-17 triumph over the Wallabies.
A punter from the North Island who laid $400,000 on the men in black - the biggest wager in the TAB's history - would have been nervous when the Australians closed to 21-17 in the second half but eventually won $140,000 after backing Richie McCaw's men to win the final at $1.35.
