Uruguay scored their first World Cup tries for 12 years but could not stop Nemani Nadolo leading Fiji to a 47-15 victory in Pool A this morning.
Carlos Arboleya scored Uruguay's first touchdown in the tournament since Pablo Lemoine, now the team coach, got a try against England at the 2003 World Cup.
Agustin Ormechea got a second but was also the first player sent off at the tournament.
And Fiji rampaged to a win with seven tries, the final one from Nadolo, who also got six conversions and laid on several other scores.
