Rugby fans heading over to London for the 2015 Rugby World Cup, due to kick off in just over nine days, can expect to arrive in a city full of colour and brimming with tournament excitement.
The iconic London Eye, one of the English capital's most famous landmarks, will be draped in rugby colours throughout the six week tournament.
On September 15, international rugby legends from around the world will unveil the new festive London Eye capsules, which will be branded in the flags of the 20 competing nations.
Rugby World Cup 2003 winning player Lawrence Dallaglio will deliver the Webb Ellis Cup to the London Eye, and will be joined by Welsh star Adam Jones, former All Black great Andrew Mehrtens, Springbok legend Bobby Skinstad, Australia's James Horwill, Marco Bortolami from Italy and Argentinian Gonzalo Camacho.
The collection of rugby greats will turn on the lights and launch the London Eye formally for Rugby World Cup 2015.
The landmark will light up at night in the colours of the pools and, throughout the knockout stages, in the colours of the remaining teams still fighting for cup glory.
The tournament will be hosted in England and Cardiff between September 18 and October 31.
