England's captain Lewis Moody's under investigation for wearing a branded mouthguard at Rugby World Cup 2011.
The Daily Mail's reporting television pictures of the England captain in action against France are being studied by the IRB which will fine him $10,000 if the mouthguard was carrying advertising.
The IRB has already fined Moody's teammate, Manu Tuilagi, for a similar transgression.
An IRB spokesperson says there appears to be a breach of the Team Kit Specifications.
