The team are expected to return on Wednesday and the public will be keen to see their heroes close up and in person.
A spokesman for Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development said they were waiting to hear from New Zealand Rugby before finalising plans for a parade.
Auckland Mayor Len Brown told TVNZ's Q&A programme yesterday he was looking forward to New Zealand Rugby "giving clear instructions" and the Auckland celebrations were likely to be held on Wednesday.
"It will be outstanding."
